Today was already filled with adventure! Shedd's Aquarium and amazing Chicago Style Pizza and then an incredible evening view of the city from the Sky Deck. We already seem to be getting into the groove of how to be a big group moving and working together. Tonight's devotion is based on I Corinthians 12:12....... and how the body has many parts. Our group is fillled with creative and amazing youth who each have special gifts to share with their small group as well as the large group. Hopefully our youth are taking time to think about hopes and expectations they have for the gathering. Like a team has many players, we all have something to give to the group. Staying positive is important to a team. Finding ways to be kind and compassionate to each other is vital. Attitudes are contagious.
And we can already tell that we love our bus driver, Mike!! You should have seen the look of awe on the youth's and adult's faces as he manuevered the coach bus in the city....... many times, I reminded him of how much I appreciated his driving..... he was a true gift from God! haha!
Tommorrow will be filled with the thrills of rollercoasters! Until tomorrow.....sweet dreams!
